KTM Set To Arrive In India at the Auto Expo


Bajaj Auto might be using the upcoming 2012 New Delhi Auto Expo as a platform to introduce its KTM Duke 200 in India. This probiking model is likely to compete with Honda CBR250R and Yamaha R15, the two most famous bikes in India. It will be available between the price range of Rs. 1.1 to 1.3 lakhs while launching it in the domestic market.
KTM is a world renowned Austrian manufacturing company of bikes and racing cars, which has won accolades for its expertise at developing high performance vehicles. The KTM Duke 200 will be one of the successful models in cranking out 25 horsepower at 10,000 rpm with 19 newton meters of torque at 8000 rpm. The aluminium engine used in KTM 200 will be teamed up with six speed close-job transmission.

The Bajaj model, which will be showcased in India, has already been through a test ride and will be available in different shades. The bike does remarkably well, while cornering because of its stability and its light weight. It is also capable of reaching the top speed of 140 kilometers per hour. Despite aggressive noise, the KTM Duke 200 never vibrates out of control, and ensures that riding experience remains unparalleled.
The upcoming KTM Duke 200 will compete with Honda CBR250R and Yamaha R15 in terms of agility, weight and performance. The introduction of all new KTM to Indian motorcycle industry will mark the rise of new star in galaxy of motorcycles prevailing in the Indian industry.
